The Long Miles (#1): PML’s Finest

Welcome! To A new article series called 'The Long Miles' where every once in a while I will drop what's on my mind regarding PML, or things going on regarding it outside of league play. For the first edition of The Long Miles, as you can tell we will be talking about PML's Finest (not in that way JC), but specifically my favorite users ranked from 1-31 (obviously can't rank myself). This is simply my perspective and thought after being here for a few years so if you're offended, just be better to be higher on the next time I do this list.

1) DK
DK and I have known each other since I first joined PML. He is a good guy, honestly sounds (and looks minus the hair length) like Matthew McCaughey it's impressively scary. Haha. DK and I talk a fair amount, he's cool people. Just understands it. A consensus number one.

2) Keraun
Some people would call our relationship a case of battered women syndrome. Keraun has tried his hardest to make himself my 13th reason at times and I still come combing back but that's because deep down, past all the fuckery and toxicity. We have something special (until I don't trade with him then he wants to kill me for a few weeks). He's a good guy, just gets it. So overall despite the negatives, there's still a shining light and hence why he's number two.

3) Coby
He just joined a couple weeks ago during the playoffs, but I've known him for years. He's literally my twin twin. Ya'll will realize that soon enough, like in a perspective of viewing life and thinking on it. That's my Kyrie, I'm LeBron type beat. Although he is the better Madden player. That's my 4L.

4) Greeny
When Greeny reads this he might be surprised because I do nothing but make him want to kill me when we talk in chat. But he knows I'm just joshing around. He helped me when I was in a rough spot going through a breakup / engagement that fell out. That's my friend and I'd love to share a tea with him or something one day.

5) Nef
When I first joined PML, Nef probably wanted me to get banned within my first two weeks on the breakfast show. Idk if he did, didn't really listen back then but since then we've come a long way. I used to be lil bro and make him want to punch me. But now that's my dawgs.

6) HD
This one is a complicated one. Not as complicated as my relationship with Ke. He's a good person, we used to talk hella in voice calls before his stupid job didn't allow him to. Even though he acts Hollywood and tries to belittle me in chat in front of the cool kids I know we have a good friendship. If I ever went to Cleveland (I won't because who would, willingly) I'd have a coffee with him (only after hitting him with a plunger)

7) Cruz
Taio Cruz. Cruz Control. He family (not literally) but I know him before joining PML for a few years, we have fun matchups and he just a cool cat. Not much more to say on him.

8) Dorian
Similar to the Coby and Cruz descriptions, I've known him for years. He been by my hip even when he wants to kill me (and that's often) nothing bad to say about him outside of him calling me mean words here and there.

9) Beast
Another person that wanted to kill me at some point during my PML tenure. We cool now because I'm not acting like a rapid child off a line of coke. He just a mature fella, pretty sure his music taste stinks but he has too many other positives to shine over that one negative.

10) DMVMark
Rounding off the top ten, Mark. He's a Ravens fan so he gets a mega boost by default. He has the Hollywood tendency sometimes as well, but outside of that? No complaints. He my little cutie patootie and a real one by default.

11) ARod
Literally just missing out by inches (pause) but ARod is chill, very humble, friendly. The type of guy you want to approach as a new guy in the league, which was my case when I joined. #ARodForCommish.

12) Afro
Just a chill guy, has a really soothing voice which helps and he's funny. One of the better ones in the league. Shoutout Benny for getting 'em in here.

13) JT
I left last edition twice, once because I crashed out and thought there was better leagues out there (thanks Nef, Jefe, ARod, truly). Then because this Titans team was so close to being my 13th reason. Where I ultimately thought I was slick and came back S4/5 as 'Henry'. Basically I was not slick and JT knew. He let me stay, there's love deep down on his end for me. Also had a few personal discussions with him. He does have a heart ya'll.

14) Fallen
A fun guy. Not to play in Madden but to talk to outside in the server and a helpful commish. Go Fallen.

15) Burn
His brother is the same. Except he sucks to trade with. A good commish and a nice guy as a whole.

16) Xev
Honestly forgot bro, but it's too late to edit the list. He might've been a few spots higher if I remembered. He's a new guy and he isn't a cornball. Good fun user to play and good guy from the Keraun recruiting tree.

17) Drama
Main man Dramaman, never forget that L I gave cho ass in the playoffs. Outside of his unnecessary shit talking he's a really nice guy and one of the more approachable people in the league. On the field tho? It's fuck Drama.

18) JC
Tbh JC if you're reading this. Similar to Xev missed you and too lazy to readjust but he used to be suchhhhh a cornball and dickhead but ever since he started rooting for me (while shading my defense) he's grown on the Miles list. He's no longer a cornball or dickhead.

19) Ant
Not much to say about Ant. He's chill, never causes problems, a division mate and has a cool job so yeah.

20) Vet
Sort of the same as Ant. We don't talk much but is a good dude.

21) Casper
As long as he isn't pulling up his win in mymadden in the discord or his rookie he drafted and not being annoying. He's a good guy. We had some on and off issues but overall worked past it. I'd dap him up irl.

22) Puffy
He has no reason to be this low tbh. But no reason to be high. We don't talk much but he is on the breakfast show with me and nef so go team.

23) SP
Same as Puffy, minus the breakfast show part. I enjoy watching him beat his thigh on camera so bonus points as that.

24) Deebo
We both work in the first responder field, that's my dawg fr. He lowkey got a little spice and crankiness to him though. Maybe it's the shifts idk.

25) CB
CB you could be so much higher. You just lowkey fake toxic and Idek if we're friends. You feel?

26) DOC
He just here because he has to be as im including all users. No issues just don't know him.

27) Bohner
Literally this low because of how our nfc championship game went

28) FKNJP
He's laughed a few times when I've lost. Idk what that's all about.

29) Josh
Literally just joined so yeah.

30) Trey
Also literally just joined but hasn't responded to play pre season so yeah.

31) Que
This is one cranky individual. I'm glad he getting engaged, I wanted to say congrats but he probably would've ignored it. Idk he started the issues we have and idek what the issues are so he this low by default. Lbs.
